Nolan Alders


Mr. Alders, a Nacogdoches native, graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in physics. Go Jacks! He also minored in mathematics and astronomy. While studying at SFA, Mr. Alders became a member of the Sigma Pi Sigma national honor society for his accomplishments in the physics department.

    Coming from a family of teachers, Mr. Alders is passionate about young people and believes anyone can succeed through hard work, motivating mentors and positive peer pressure. This year, Mr. Alders will be teaching AP Physics and STEM 3 at Nacogdoches High School.

    Mr. Alders’ interests include hiking, public speaking, going on road trips, scientific research and education, coffee, technology and space exploration. He is married to the love of his life, is a youth worker in a local church, and is pursuing his Master’s degree online. He plans on continuing his career in public education with the goal of making a difference in the next generation. He is invested in helping young people achieve their dreams and welcomes collaboration with parents and guardians. His contact information and office hours are listed below.
