Glenda Woodson

Hello, My Name Is...

<Glenda Woodson>

I was born and raised in Nacogdoches County. I graduated from Stephen F. Austin in 2010 with a Bachelor of Art in Communications. I am continuing my education at Grand Canyon University online receiving a Master of Secondary Education; I graduate in the spring. After I graduate, I will be certified in English 7-12 and Journalism 7-12. I am so excited to start my journey as a teacher here at NHS.

I have worked in the district for over two years now. I started as a substitute all over the district to get my feet wet in the field. I was hooked! I then landed a full-time aide position in Content Mastery under Special Education, coached UIL Journalism, and co-sponsor Anime Club. When this opportunity became available, I was thrilled to get into my own classroom. I have enjoyed my time in the district, and have found a family here at the high school. I enjoy working with students and have learned so much from my coworkers. I plan on staying in education for many years to come.
