Associate Principal: Brittany Brown

Mrs. Brittany Brown is the Associate Principal at Nacogdoches High School.  

This will be Mrs. Brown's first year in her role at Nacogdoches High School.  Prior to NHS, Mrs. Brown was an Assistant Principal at Keller High School, in Keller, Texas.  

Mrs. Brown began a career in public education in 2008 in her hometown of Midlothian, Texas, where she was an English teacher and coach.  While living in Midlothian, she also taught Composition and Rhetoric at Navarro College.  From there, she taught American Literature and coached at Lake Travis High School in Austin, Texas.  In 2013 she moved to Southlake, Texas where she was the English Department Chair and continued to coach while at Carrol Middle School. In 2015, she began her role in administration as an Assistant Principal at Keller High School earning respective awards while leading several areas of academics and special populations.  

Mrs. Brown's education includes earning her certificate for teaching English Language Arts and Reading while at Texas State University-San Marcos. In addition, she earned a Master of Arts specializing in English from Texas A&M University-Commerce.  Continuing her education, she earned her Principal Certification through the Educational Leadership certificate program at Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas.

Mrs. Brown and her husband, Jake have just recently moved to Nacogdoches, Texas with their daughter Harper and Labrador Retriever, Tucker, and are excited to join the community of Nacogdoches.
