The boys had 182 points, beating out second place Hudson, which had 149.

Other teams competing in the 17-5A meet included Whitehouse, Pineywoods, Cushing, Huntington and Central Heights.

Saturday’s district championships were the 16th straight for the NHS boys team and 14th straight for the girls.

Thirty-one NHS swimmers earned a berth in the regional swim meet Feb. 2-3 in College Station.

Girls team members include: Lupe Alvarez, Aiden Baltierra, Alyssa Becnel, Isabella Carrillo, Lily Choi, Lizzy Davis and Sky Fredregill.

Also, Hailey Goggans, Kameron Hughes, Sarah Hutchison, Sydney Lewallen, Sydney Madkins, Michele Perez, Cosette Potter and Sydney Rankin.

Also, Hannah Spake, Savana Spillers, Madalynn Stout, Jesse Stovall, Madison Ward, Lexi Weems, Sabrina White and Rachel Wilder.

Boys team members include: Stuart Beal, Wilson Bertin, Clayton Blackshire, Blake Boyett, Jackson Castleberry and Matthew Dunn.

Also, Zach Fickes, Philip Franke, Daniel Fryar, Rene Gracia, Cooper Hinson, Josiah Kinman, Aidan Montest and Reuben Ninan.

Also, Jackson Oliver, Hugo Polo, Cole Stephens, Ashton Stewart and Diego Zendejas.

The team is coached by Carrie Scroggins. Chris Moody is the assistant coach, and team managers are Greg Marroquin and Gisel Medrano.
