Hello, my name is Chance Bradford. I was born in Mount Pleasant, TX and graduated from Chapel Hill HS. I served four years in the U.S. Marine Corps (2004 to 2007) as a legal clerk at the School of Infantry in Camp Pendleton, CA. I graduated from SFA with a Bachelor of Science in Math (2013) and Master of Science in Math (2015).

When I was in high school, I hated and struggled with math. If my teachers had to guess which of their students would become a math teacher, I would have been at the bottom of their list! However, after serving in the Marine Corps I discovered the value in education.  I began to take college classes and fell in love with an astronomy course. I came to realize math wasn’t something teenagers were forced to do by mean teachers. In fact, it’s a beautiful and extremely important subject. All of science and technology are built upon math.

My goal as a teacher is to continue to support those students who already excel in math, and especially to help the students who struggle with math just like I used to. I’m living proof that you can accomplish anything (like understand Algebra!) with time, effort, and a positive attitude.

I'm in Room 932 in the Freshman building. Please feel free to contact me at WBradford@NacISD.org.
